WORLD MARCH OF WOMEN 2000

The World March of Women 2000 was launched March 8th on International Women's Day and continues to October 17, the International Day for the Elimination of Poverty.  On October 15th women from across Canada will rally in Ottawa on Parliament Hill and lobby MPs (October 17) to end poverty and violence against women.  The World March of Women 2000 has been endorsed by over 135 countries and 2200 organizations.
