The many things that happened at Banquet 2002

This year's banquet was a busy banquet full of events and festivities. We hope that those who missed it this year will be at it next year.

The banquet began with a brotherhood ceremony at overland high school. Congratulations to the one scout who took this last chance to seal his membership in the lodge before the price increased. Way to go for a job well done.

The food was excelent. Not of your regular variety BBQ banquet food, the chicken, mashed potatoes, and apple cobbler were wonderful. Hopefully nobody stood in line too long. On the bright side though, this year's fellowship wasn't as painfully close as last years.

The award's portion of the night began with the Arrowman's Service Award, Wimachtendienk Chapter Award, Attendance Award, and the Camping Award. There were several recipants of the ASA, WE was the only recipant of the W. Chapter Award, and the Attendance Award went to MB. Way to go to everyone for a job well done.

The lodge then shifted gears as it heard the entersting tale of discovery from the eyes of a shuttle comander Michael Coats

Following his tale, the lodge shifted gears towards a somber moment as it recognized Dan Morahan for a Job Well Done. Special thanks to the Lodge Chief dressing in his full Lodge Chief outfit.

Following that moment, the Founder's Award recipiants were announced for this year. Our adult is Dan Morahan, and the youth is Christopher Moore.

Chapter member and Vigil Chief Ryan Guy and our lodge chief took an active step forward with a new vigil call out ceremony this year as well as an energetic new way of vigil members contragulating candidates for a job well done. This year, Chapter Member Andrew Ritzdorf was nominated for Vigil Honor. Way to go Andrew, and special thanks to Ryan for a job well done.

Did you miss the food, the fellowship, the fun, and excitement? Fear not, for the next Lodge Banquet is only a year away. Imagine what fun a chapter banquet could be...
