"Mrs. Ella Lewis, wife of Charles Lewis, a well known citizen of Cow Neck, died at the hospital in Baltimore, where she had been taken to undergo an operation, on Tuesday. The remains were brought to the county on Wednesday and the funeral services conducted at the home today by Rev. L. H. Suddith. Burial will be in the Lewis burying ground. Mrs. Lewis is survived by four sons, and two daughters, three brothers and two sisters. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Larkin Davis and she was highly esteemed in the community as a woman of estimable christian character.".
