The candy store was having a
sale, so I decided to spend my money to buy as many pieces of candy as
possible. Their sign read as follows:
Candy Sale
First three pieces of candy - 10 cents each
For every group of three more pieces of candy the price will be reduced
by 1 cent each.
I was thinking, that means that the fourth, fifth, and sixth piece of candy will cost me 9 cents each. And then the seventh piece of candy costs only 8 cents, and so on. Make a table to help solve the problem and tell me how many pieces of candy I can buy with one dollar. Do I have any change?
