I am planning a picnic and I went to the store to buy hot dogs and hot dog buns. Each package of hot dogs contained 12 hot dogs and each package of hot dog buns contained 8 hot dog buns.  How many packages of hot dogs and how many packages of hot dog buns do I need to buy if I do not want any leftover hot dogs or hot dog buns?

For 4th and 5th graders:  If each package of hot dogs costs $2.69 and each package of hot dog buns costs $.79, how much will it cost me altogether for my picnic?
