Spring is here and the daffodils are growing.  On Monday I counted 2 daffodils in my yard.  I counted 6 daffodils in all on Tuesday, 10 on Wednesday, and 14 on Thursday.  On Friday I saw 20 daffodils altogether in my yard.  Make a bar graph of the daffodils in my yard.


 
  




For 4th and 5th grades:  Make a table of the number of new daffodils in my yard.  For example,  Monday there were 2 new daffodils, Tuesday there were 4 new daffodils (6-2=4). This is called the rate of change.
