I went biking on Mother's Day with my family along the Erie Canal.   Our goal was to bike 14 miles from Bushnell's Basin to Palmyra.  We only averaged 7 miles per hour because it was so windy.  We started our bike ride at 10:00 a.m.  What time did we get to Palmyra?



















For 4th and 5th grades:  Our trip home went much faster because the wind was at our back.  We averaged 12 miles per hour.  We left Palmyra at 1:00 p.m. after a nourishing lunch.  What time did we get home?
