This went on daily on BBC2 and ratings surely went up. Later on BBC, the main channel ordered to have its own Weakest Link. This Weekly Edition was sub-titled "Champion's League," where previous winners of the BBC2 daily version dish out and prove once and for all who is the ultimate Strongest Link.

This time, they shortened the players into eight players, with a much more handsome reward of £20,000. The look was improved from the set. Instead of wipe-out boards from the daily version, they used electronic pens and monitors to present the voting choice in style. More decorations were added like the huge circle on top, and more lights.

The highlight of the Weekly Edition was the appearance of the audience. This was an opportunity to listen Anne's banter to the players as well as see for themselves the player's point of view towards Anne.

A year later BBC scrapped the Champion's League and instead hosted a brand new set of players. Instead of eight they shortened up the players to seven.
So the Weekly Edition lasted thirty minutes from the previous forty-five minutes. Still the money was £20,000.

Still, BBC wanted to spruce everything up and improve the look of Weakest Link.

Next - More ground to cover

"King Of Sting"
He's bad and he's going to bring the whole psychological warfare onto another level.

"Queen Of Mean"

Get to know the Mother of all insults, and more. Black is such a fashion statement.

"Everyone's saying it"

Weakest Link has spawned international versions. All with that ruthlessness and hostility included.
