Elena is a writer, a journalist and an actress, which makes her a household name in Greece.

The Greek version is toned down, although this doesn’t stand in the way of the show’s success. Instead of being a bitchy schoolmarm like Anne Robinson, Elena merely criticizes players on their answers, and asks them why they voted for a particular person, and rather than ordinary says "You are the Weakest Link, I’m very sorry."
