Portugal's premiere TV network; RTP gets the rights to produce their own version of Weakest Link, translated; "O Elo Mais Fraco." The word 'fraco' meaning 'link.'

TV personality Luisa Castel Branco replaces the first host Julia Pinheiro to interrogate players with their stupid answers with an iron hand.

"O Elo Mais Fraco" follows the UK Primetime version with nine players and vying for €10,000 prize.
