Maria Kiselyova

The Weakest Link in Russia is hosted by Maria Kiselyova. Maria is a Russian Olympic Champion in synchronized swimming. In the 2000 Olympics she brought home 2 gold medals for her country.

On top of that Maria is a sports news announcer on Russian TV. She has promised to be just as acid-tongued as Anne Robinson in dismissing contestants as the Weakest Link. 

Using the unusual mixture of both Primetime and Daily sets, the Russian version pits eight strangers vying for RUB400,000.
