Eight contestants come into the game as strangers not knowing each other, but they have to work as a team to build up the money, but only one of them can leave with the money as the seven will leave with nothing as round by round they vote off the contestant who they think is the Weakest Link.

They form a semi-circle around the host/inquisitor, Edu Manzano. He asks a general knowledge question to the contestants.

The aim in each round is answer enough questions to reach the 125,000 PHP money target within the time limit.

The fastest way to reach that target is create a chain of eight correct answers. Get your question wrong, you break the chain and you lose the money within the chain.

But if you say "Bank" before Edu asks the question the money is safe but the team will have to start a new chain from scratch. The only money that has been banked will be accepted and will be forwarded to the next round.

The first round will last for two minutes and thirty seconds (2:30) and the person whose name is first alphabetically will start off the game.
