Mattanchery: This Tourist centre attracts thousands of foreigners  with its ancient sculptures and monuments. Mattanchery is also a good place for buying antiques. The Palace of Veera Kerala Varma and Jewish synagogue are other attractions.
Thattekkad: This Place is known for its natural beauty. The famous scientist Dr.Salim Ali discoverd the importance of this place.Famous Thattekkad Bird sanctuary is situated here. Rare species of birds finds their habitat here. Thattekkad is 70 kms away  from Kochi.
