Minutes of December 16, 2001 were read and accepted.
Stock update:
BBBY - up. Price $32.40
JNJ - up. Price $57.65, was purchased at $51.00
NOKIA - up. Price $23.12, was purchased at $21.05
CAKE - up
ADCT - down. Price $4.70
GE - $1,200 was sent to GE to purchase a DIVIDEND REINVESTMENT ACCOUNT also called a DRIP account. We currently have 34.5 shares.Education
Video tape to be made by Renee regarding the SSG.
Pfizer delicately presented, possible pick. An SSG was done.
Reliant Energy on Quick Stock Analysis did not do well. Unnecessary to do SSG.
Philip Morris was discussed. Greg to investigate insuring our portfolio, to be discussed at next meeting.
Check the NAIC website at better-investing.org for Spring Investment classes. Club will pay for 1st class and any other class will be paid by member.
NYC classes at FIT. April 8,15, 22, and 29th for SSG Intermediate class. Register by Monday 2/18/02.

Before end of contest, have Quick Stock Analysis, Stock Check List and SSG. Have all three for your entry or a stock you’d like to present Can use previous stock from last contest for this contest.
RULES - Make submissions in February of the stocks you want to choose with Quick Stock Analysis.
1st place 70% , 2nd place 30%. Winnings based on highest percentage gain.
Next meeting Renee will present Pfizer, Copart, Inc. will be presented by Deborah.
Guidelines for presentation, have a copy of the Value Line for everyone, along with Quick Stock Analysis, Stock Check List and SSG.New Business
Charity case presented to the club. Is club ready to do charity? Guidelines must be set up to determine how we will contribute.
Al Frasier, Treasurer for the Westchester Chapter of NAIC was introduced and acknowledged for his contribution in getting our accounting system on track. He mentioned the need for volunteers with the NAIC Westchester Chapter Board and to the monthly meetings. Any participation would be appreciated.
