WEAVER PROMOTIONS

Below are the requirements for promotion within the Weaver Craft. However, meeting the hourly requirements DOES NOT mean automatic promotion. You are expected to be active and not idle when trying to meet your hourly requirement for promotion. You are also expected to help promote RP around the Hall, help your fellow Weavers, and complete Weaver commissions. Please remember that breaking rules and misbehaving will delay your promotion or result in being demoted, or worse. Be sure to read 'help weaver rules' for a list of both rules and punishments.

If you have any questions about promotion requirements, or feel you have met the requirements and are due to be promoted (and haven't yet been contacted from one of the OOC Staff members), please send a note to *WCS.

Probationary Apprentice: Starting rank for all Weavers, IC age of at least 12 and no older than 18

Apprentice: At least 10 hours as a Probationary Apprentice, one sample commission description

Senior Apprentice: At least 25 hours as an Apprentice

Journeyman: At least 50 hours as a Senior Apprentice, one project, IC age of at least 16

Senior Journeyman: 75 hours as a Journeyman, specialty (if any) should be chosen if not done earlier

Master: 100 hours as a Senior Journeyman, two projects (one must be related to chosen specialty), IC age of at least 20

All sample commission descriptions should be sent to *WCS for critiquing. The Weaver OOC Staff must also approve all project ideas for Journeyman and Master promotions. Please send your project ideas to *WCS. Additionally, any actual commissions completed by Apprentices must be sent to *WCS for approval before they are given to the customer. The same applies to any descriptions added to the Weaver Database.
