The Word of God endures forever.

"The grass withers and the flowers fall but the Word of our God stands forever" -
(Isaiah 40:8).

The Bible is divinely inspired.

"…man spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit" -
 (2 Peter
1:21).

The Word of God is indestructible.

Many kings and authorities tried to destroy the Bible but none could succeed. The Word of God was written by scholars, kings and illiterate people, from different parts of the world in different languages in different era, but was guided by the Holy Spirit.

The Word of God is written for a purpose.

Firstly to know that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God and by believing we might have life through His name. (John 20:31)

Secondly, the scripture may be used for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training everyone in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16).

The knowledge of the Word of God helps us to stop sinning against God.

"I have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against you’ (Psalm 119:11).

Obedience to Gods Word brings success, prosperity, longevity and eternal life. (Joshua 1:8, 1Kings 3:14, Psalm 119:155)

But disobedience brings destruction (Psalm 119:155).

Word of God counsels and directs our steps and leads us into righteousness.

Psalm 119:133 says "Direct my footsteps according to your Word;
let no sin rule over me".

The Word of God is true, trustworthy and eternal.

Psalm 119:160 says "All your Words are true; all your righteous laws are eternal".
It gives us wisdom knowledge, understanding and insight. (Psalm 119:98, 99,100)

The Word of God is food for the soul which helps us to grow spiritually.

"Man does not live by bread alone, but every Word that comes from the mouth of God" – (Matthew 3:4).

The Word of God is like a lamp which expels darkness and enlightens us spiritually.

Psalm 119:105 says ‘Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path’.

The Bible is like a sharp weapon that judges our thoughts, Words and deeds.

Hebrew 4:12 says "The Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart".

The Word of God is powerful like a hammer and breaks the ego, pride and
                           self-dependence of   a person. (Jeremiah 23:29)

The Word of God is like a fire that consumes the impurities of our heart and mind.
                              (Jeremiah 20:9)

The Bible is like a living seed, which gives us life. (I peter 1:23)

The Bible is like a mirror, which reflects our true spiritual life. (James 1:23, 23)

The Word of god is sweeter than honey "How sweet are thy Words unto my taste!
Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!"
(Psalm 119: 103).

Word of God is precious to His saints. "The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver".  (Psalm 119:72)

The Bible should be read everyday,

with prayer,

meditation

and with a perseverance

to obey all precepts and commands.
