February 29 2000: From Kate J:
"This seems to be a CSM focused episode and very light on the Mulder. Scully and CSM have a lot of scenes. A lot of filming done at a cabin that is CSM's and a federal facility
February 25 2000: From Elwood Blues:
"It's about the CSM. It's about Krycek. It's about the truth. It's about the ultimate cure for cancer. Gunmen are in it. Krycek returns, not much Mulder, Scully meets Mr. Spender sr. face2face ending up in his car."
February 15 2000: From LtlStar:
"I was on the set Thursday but it was second unit so GA and DD weren't there but Rob Bowman was there sporting a new shorter haircut. It was pouring rain all day and everyone got soaked to the skin. We shot the trailer (I believe) for an untitled episode. It takes place in Virginia in rural farm country. It's about a young boy with cancer whose parents refuse to treat him because of their religious beliefs. Protesters show up at their house and rush their car as they pull up their driveway. There are reporters and photographers and police trying to keep everyone back as the family rushes into the house. I don't know much else about the episode but I do know that MIBs show up later and at one point the MIBs are in leotards!! Can't wait to see what that's about!"
February 11 2000: From Daniel Wood:
"Frank Spotnitz speaks on episode fifteen -- written by William B. Davis and directed by Rob Bowman. He says, 'I think there will be one more traditional kind of mythology episode. I'm working on the episode with Cigarette Smoking Man [William B. Davis] actually. This is the year of the actors. He had an idea that I think is great, and I think he's going to write it. We're trying to work that out now, but it's got Cigarette Smoking Man and Scully and Mulder and Krycek. It's really going to be fun. It will be something you've never seen before.'"
February 6 2000: From Elwood Blues:
STATUS: shooting from 1/31 - 2/9
Classification: Mulder-lite / Mythology
Plot: In Bill Davis' episode we get to meet Cancer Man's Mom [who claims to be 112-years old, played by Alexandra Albrecht], and a cure for cancer involving men in [black] suits, MIBs. Gunmen are in it [they're contracted for 6 episodes this year]. Scully ends up in Mr. Spender's car when he begins to reveal the truth... "
January 26 2000: From Autumn:
"In 7X15 we get to meet... CancerMan's mom. Well, technically Scully meets her, but we get to watch. She says she is 112, but she certainly does not look it."
"According to Dean Haglund's site: 'I think this episode might be Mulder-lite to accommodate DD's promo week (for Return to Me). In the parts of the script I have seen (which is no where near all of it mind you) Scully is doing a lot of running around by herself. Well, until CSM ends up in her car.'"
January 22 2000: From The Official X-File Web Site:
"William B. Davis (aka
Cigarette-Smoking Man) will write the still untitled episode
#15, to be directed by Rob Bowman."
"This episode is
about a cure for cancer that involves men in suits. And the kid
in the teaser who gets cured (and he has those 'God will cure
you' not medicine-type parents) has a scar on his neck very
similar to our Miss Scully."
