THANKFUL!

I want to take this page to thank all of  you who sent their condolences & gifts about my recent fire.  This has been a very traumatic incident in my life and has put an enormous strain on my ability to cope with most things - but my friends and neighbors have been there for me and Brandon and have been WONDERFUL!  Thanks to ALL of You!!!

I am thankful we are alive....the fire department said if it had happened in the middle of the night - we probably wouldn't have made it out..... I am thankful we came home when we did..... I am thankful I have the chance to start over.... I am thankful there is nothing that is going to happen today that God and I together can't handle.

I am beginning to "move away from the destruction part" and I am looking ahead to rebuilding. We hope to be back in the house around Christmas time - wouldn't that be a GREAT Christmas present? But....I never know when the grief will hit me again....I see something that triggers a memory of the fire and break down - but I manage to pick myself back up and everyday gets better. We will be doing things differently when we move back in.  Check back for more later.......
