The amplifier rig that I use consists of a Koch Powertone II, a Fender Deluxe (with 1x12" combo) and a 4x12 1970's Marshall speaker cabinet with 25 watt greenback celestions in it. I run in stereo using these amps.Skinny's Gear
Live,I mainly use Shure 57's to mic in stereo. This equipment is controlled with an Axess Electronics loop switcher. Each pedal/processor is plugged into one of the 8 loops and I can program the system to switch between various loop combinations. This ensures that when I'm not using certain pedals that the signal is running straight into the amp and not being effected by the electronics of a piece of gear. The signal ends up as transparent as possible. I control the system via midi using an Axess Electronics MC5 footcontroller. I use a Midibuddy foot controller to change presets on the Quadraverb.
My main guitar is a Fender Stratocaster that really isn't a Fender anymore. I installed a Floyd Rose Tremolo on it and put a PRS HFS pickup in the bridge position as well as a PRS Vintage Bass pickup in the neck position. I also put a custom neck on it with 22 jumbo frets.
My other main guitar is a Paul Reed Smith CE22.
This setup changes occasionally to fit the gig but my mainstays are my rack system, my strat, and the Koch amp.
Pictures coming soon. See Y'all at the show.
