Web Page Design: Exercises for Section 06

After you have finished reading section 06, try these exercises.

You may use any of these sample images for your exercises.

Other free image links are at the end of section 06.

  1. Add a background image to each file in the recipe web from the last section's exercise.
  2. Add a picture of each recipe on the recipe page.
  3. Place some small icons at appropriate spots to highlight different sections - go wild!
  4. If you wish to make an image map on the home page, use this image. Three circles may be used to approximate the link area, the parameters for the map pixels for the circles are:
    1. linguine - center: 218,321; radius: 113
    2. penne - center: 340,173; radius: 107
    3. fettuccine - center: 141,167; radius: 108
