It was a week after my baby sister was born. It was a cold night in December. I was doing my homework in my room, that is the first time I heard it. I have never seen a ghost, but I have heard it. I have heard a voice and knocking. The knocking is what came first. Like I was saying, I was at my desk doing my homework. I thought nothing of it at first, but then it got worse. I told my mom about it and she said that she would sit up in my room and listen. she sat up there and nothing happened. so she came back down and I went to bed. That night it knocked on every wall in my room. My stepfather told me that since it is an old house it was just probably settling. Then my older sister came over and spent the night in my room, and my bed started to shake. My sister was feeling very brave so see knocked on the wall and it knocked back. the knocking is just not something little, but it gets louder and louder every time, and it is one followed by three knocks. I have heard someone walking in the hallway, and lights have turned on, and things have moved, but the weirdest thing was when I was sitting in bed and it said my name. When my sister was three she started having night terrors. She would be having a bad dream and no one could wake her up. So my mom would sit beside her until it was over. Then she heard the knocking. My house also has a history. The people who built my house over 80 years ago lost their baby and my room was suppose to be the baby's room. My room was the only room that was finished upstairs, and this all started when my baby sister was born. That explains most of the things that happened, but not all the things. The knocking is the worst when I have problems or when I have people over. I have recorded the knocking and other people have heard it. I am only a 16 year old girl and I was 11 when this started to happen. There have been other people who have lived in my house but no one has ever used the upstairs before. This is my ghost, and I would like to know why it picked me and none of my other sisters.
