Angel on My Shoulder? |
I am a strong believer in the supernatural and the unknown. Recently while at work I was very stressed out and while I was doing some paperwork sitting at my desk I felt someone touch my shoulder. It felt like a gentle touch of someone just saying hey there as they walked by. I turned around and realized no one was behind me and asked my co-worker Jackie if she needed something thinking she may have touched my shoulder as she walked by. She was standing by the rolling shelfs in the kitchen fidgeting in her purse. She looked at me puzzled and answered, "No. Why?" I answered her, "Oh. I thought you needed something since you touched my shoulder." "I didn't touch your shoulder," she answered. The conversation continued for several minutes with me insisting that she had indeed touched my shoulder but I realized she hadn't when she said, "It must be an angel looking out for you and letting you know they are there." Realizing how stressed I had been recently I gave her comment some thought and realized she must be right especially since there was no one else around.
