NEW THIS SEASON - HIGHSCHOOL CURLING!
If 24 or more (minimum of 20) teen curlers register for a Sunday evening draw (their own night!) this will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on regular Sunday evenings.
Also new for this year, is the opportunity for junior curlers to pay a fee of $60.00 and be able to curl regularly on any evening draw with adults, on a space available basis. (other than the mixed social curling on Friday evenings where juniors can spare for missing members.)
Registration for Monday; Sunday and regular Curling:
1) Friday September 22nd at 7:00 to 9:00 PM or Saturday September 23rd from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Napanee Curling Club;
2) Monday October 23rd and the 30th at 4:30 PM at the Napanee Curling Club. (You can register any time thereafter by coming to any session and speaking to a coach or director.)
The club has a supply of curling brooms that you may borrow. There will also be a supply of Teflon tape to put on a your running shoe to act as a slider. We encourage curlers to invest in their own brooms, sliders and grippers as you begin to gain skills.
Curling Clinics will be held on Oct. 23rd (if the ice is in). Skills will continue to be taught at the beginning of each session during initial weeks.
