John Denver in concert     This page is dedicated to the memory of John Denver.  He was one of my favorite singers and I was fortunate enough to see him in concert twice.  The first time I saw him was in June 1977 at the Universal Ampitheater and he put on a wonderful show as I heard he always did.  The second time I saw him in concert was at the Forum in Inglewood, CA in May 1978.  He was "in the round" on a revolving stage and I had been able to purchase two tickets in the third row.  I decided that I would try to get my camera into the concert to take some pictures.  I brought all of my equipment except for a tripod and security let me pass right through without even a second glance at my bag and all the stuff.  The two pictures here are from that concert.
John Denver in concert     I have always enjoyed John Denver for the simple reason that his lyrics spoke to me personally.  His love of the mountains and of the Earth itself is evident in his music and lyrics and I think they influenced me in many of the decisions I have made over the course of my years.  I still listen to his music from time to time.  I mourned his passing and miss him.

"Music make pictures and often tells stories,
All of it magic, and all of it true.
And all of the pictures and all of the stories,
All of the magic, the music is you."

Rest in Peace John
