We ask this so that every one can get to know each other more personally.

Some people don’t really like others to know it so if you answer no to this question then only the heads of the committee’s will know and they will not pass it on unless you agree to it. If other members ask for it and you have answered no to this question on the join form we will inform you someone has asked then you can let us know what you would like us to do.

Web Goth name?

This is the name you pick as your nick name my nickname is Blackcat.

Titles

As part of each committee you will be given a title this reflects the level you are on within the committee. In The Court you start off as a peasant but the more work you do the higher up the social ladder you go and also the length of time you are in the group reflects this. If you were head of this committee you would be know as the Prince or Princess. So if I was head of The Court I would be know as Princess Blackcat of The Court. See each committee for the different titles.

Date of Birth? (day month year e.g. 1st June 1978)

I ask this because at the moment they is a age limit of 17 and above to be in Web Goths although I am thinking of starting a group attracted to this one for younger members. Please be honest with this many groups ask the age limit to be 18 I say 17 because I believe people of that age are old enough to view certain things. This is asked as many people have different time zones and can only get online at certain times. Also many people would like to get to know people who live close to them.

This is a must you must enter the correct address or how will we be able to put you on the lists.

Do you mind if this is listed on a Committee Members page?

With all committee's they is a list of the members with they Web Goth name and real name if they don't mind others knowing it. Also they site address is listed if they have one. If you don't mind your email being viewed by other members then this is also where your email will be listed. When you first join they is a accouncement on the main webgoths info list and if you don't mind your email going out then it will be in this accouncement. This means that you may recieve emails from other members welcoming you or asking you things.

This would good if you want to promote your site or you would like to become a staff member we can view it and see how good you are. Also if we know that you can do web pages you will be set assignment that reflect this skill.

How did you find out about Web Goths?

It is important that you fill this part in as we like to know which method is working the best to gather members also members who gather the most members are often given prizes or moved up the social ladder. If you viewed this site because of a email send to you by another member or were left a guest book entry please use the name of that person as well.

Web Site building experience? Graphics Experience?

I ask these questions so that I know what to expect from members and that I am not pushing them to do things they can’t do also for certain committee’s or staff jobs you must have a certain level of experience. With web designing when I say designer I mean you have a lot of experience have been doing it for a long time and may even be doing a course in it or have a job doing it. When I say HTML I
mean you know html well have been making web sites as a hobby and you have your own web site. When I say Front page I mean you have been building web sites using web tools such as Front Page and Page Builder sites where you don’t know use any html or only a small bit. When I say none I mean you have never build a web site and have no idea how to program html.
With Graphics designing when I say designer I mean you have a lot of experience have been doing it for a long time and may even be doing a course in it or have a job When I say basic I mean you have only just started out with graphics and know a little bit about it. When I say none I mean you have no experience in graphics making at all.

Please pick one of these committee’s.

In total you can only pick two committees to join when you first start one from the first section and one from the second. The only exception to this is if you are a staff member. As a staff member you are only expected to join 2 your own and another. As you go up the social ladder more or the longer you are with the group the more committee’s you can join. Please remember that with each new committee you join more the more work you will have to do. Do not join more committee’s if you have not the time to do more work. In joining committee’s you must do the assignments set for you with both groups not just the one
even if you are a staff member you still have to put the work into the other committee as well.

How often are you online?

This is important we need to know so we know when to expect a reply from you and how much work you can do for the committee’s. Also staff members must be able to get online at least once every 2 to 3 days. We do understand if you have computer problems or family troubles are ill or even if you have fancy a holiday we all do. All you have to do is get in touch by email and let us know. If your a member of web Goths you must be able to get online at least once a week. If for any reason you have problems all you need to do is email us and let us know and you can ask for a LOA = leave of absence for a maxim of 3 weeks. If you need to extend this time all you need to do is email is before the 3 weeks are up and explain the reasons why you need it expend we will add more time. In this time we will take you off all the mailing lists in web goths and only email you personally if needed.

Just put the committee and job that you would like to do e.g. head or deputy head. If you have noticed that we haven’t got a committee that you think we need please let me know.
