Overview of Smack Talk by Professor Canine The Art of the Smack Smack, besides the actual preparation that is involved in successful gameplay, is the most prevelent aspect of WEBL. Most big fights are preceded by a war of smack words. Even Forum topics are not immune to the power of the smack. Virtually every forum topic will have some sort of smack post associated with it. Smack is not just a bunch of words. Smack is an act that some managers have turned into an art form. Lets examine different smack fundamentals and styles: Thjere are basically 2 types of managerial smackers..... 1) the quality smacker 2) the quantity smacker The QUALITY SMACKER usually picks and chooses his releases, although his releases are not usually plentiful, they are usually entertaining and plentiful in quality. The QUANTITY SMACKER releases smack in mass doses and does not care if his releases have much quality. they want to be heard and could care less how stupid, or unimaginitive their releases may sound. Within these 2 types of smackers there lies distinctive smack traits that managers usually fall under. A) The ACCOUNTANT SMACKER -this type of smacker tends to back his smack words with various WEBL statistics or ratings. He or she likes to use managers statistical shortcomings as his basic smack offensive. MUDSLINGER frequntly employs this tactic in his arsenal. B) The HUMEROUS SMACKER - They are the Chris Rocks of the WEBL smack world. Their posts are meant to cause laughter. MORONGO VALLEY has left his mark on the smack world by using this entertaining style. OLD LYME is also skilled in this area. C) The DEFENSIVE SMACKER - these types of smackers usually are responding to the smack of others. They feel the need to disguise their defensiveness in the form of outgoing smack. PATCHELL in response to TEKS relentless attacks is likely WEBLS most famous defensive smacker. D) The RUTHLESS SMACKER - They just don't care about your feelings, in fact they live off of hurting the feelings of others. They will attempt to humiliate you to satisfy their heartless character trait. 3CK and a host of Gulf managers are well-known for posessing these ruthless traits. E) The INTIMIDATING SMACKER - These types of smackers will pick on lesser skilled managers many Newbie managers feel the wrath of this type of smacker. They are highly skilled managers who know it. They enjoy the trembling that they percieve they place on the shoulders of newbies. WISKEYCROW was known to try to belittle the weak in his heyday. F) The CHARACTER SMACKER - This type of smacker always roleplays in
character. They create fighters with certain traits and exploit others with
these traits. TEK is easily WEBL's most decorated CHARACTER SMACKER Virtually everyone when partaking in smack will fall under one at least one of these Smack personality traits. Managers are basically born with their smack talent...they either have it or do not, there is not many training methods that can be employed to guarantee great smack. learn what ires a particular manager and attack that weakness and you are virtually guaranteed smack success.
