NU'S Mistik sebuah band black metal dari Pulau Pinang yang memang hebat (bagi pendapat akulah). Pertama kali aku diperdengarkan dengan demo mereka dari Airmata Sesalan amat menyenangkan gegendang telinga aku. Muzik mereka yang tak begitu keras dan tak begitu bingit membuatkan sesiapa sahaja yang kaki black metal pasti terhibur. Vokalisnya yang bersuara nyaring tetapi tidak membingitkan telinga begitu seimbang dengan setiap melodi yang mereka mainkan. Bukan nak membodek tapi komen ini datangnya tulus dari sanubari aku. Pendapat lu semua aku tak tahulah. Tapi itulah kenyataannya.		HI-STORY Black metal in a mystical way !!! Totally chaotic thus creating a lots of traditional metal riffs. A band with a burning ambition and they have gained a lots of experience by performing in gigs. The essence of their music was quite simple but successful in terms of building up strong and energetic waves in their musical foundation. DISCO-GRAFI "Satan In My Embrace EP in 1999" "Perjanjian Ilmu Hitam Psychic Scream Entertainment, 1999" Split album with Ritual Orchestra (Indonesian Black Metal) Review: Two Psychic Scream Entertainment's most famous black metal band in one CD (actually, at the time of this review being made, these are the only two black metal band in this label). Wow, what a great CD... MISTIK features songs from their Airmata Sesalan EP while RITUAL ORCHESTRA songs are (as said) taken from Satan My Embrace EP (this songs also available in Seeking Immortal album). I don't want to comment further. I don't like it and I never will. Just check my review on the respective releases elsewhere. "Airmata Sesalan Demo in 1998 Psychic Scream Entertainment" Review: Great cover artwork but not the music. Black metal is what they play and while playing live, MISTIK really caught the attention of the crowd but in this EP they have let the crowd down (or maybe it's just me ?). There's an instrumental track played by DARK NIRRAJIM and the instrumental version Perjanjian Syaitan (with vocals can be heard in Panggilan Pulau Puaka 1 compilation) and the best one this EP. The rest ? Just plain mediocre black metal and quite exhausting listening until the EP end. It will be good if Perjanjian Syaitan were put first in this tape and I can stop and easily rewind the tape and listen to the only best track here. Well, this song is just different with MISTIK music. It has this great, simple riff and being repeated all over the 7 minutes of this song. But this EP is quite old actually since now MISTIK has progressed a lot when I heard 2 new songs in Storm Of Nebiula Compilation 2. They have improved immensely and that is a good news to Malaysian black metal scene !(taken fr. seametalf.)
