HI-STORY

It was a somber night of 27th February 1994 when the band was born. The band was originally formed by Dark-E and Gea Dreamstone (now with Athotorgh). During that time, other than the legendary doom master Modar, Vociferation Eternity was the only band in Malaysia that played slow-to-death kind of doom Metal.

The first demo, oddly titled 'Psalm of Infernal Parturation' was conceived on the 1st of July 1994.Eventually, because of the weird nature of the music and the unsusceptible musical direction and not to say how it bend away from the current trend of that time (which was Death/Black Metal), the demo was ignored. It was supposedly also, to be an experimental demo. Only a few grab it before it was totally forgotten.

A short time after that, Dark-E was left alone to handle the band when Dreamstone called it quit.Dark-E began his lone journey but soon gathered company in the form of Azmaniarkht (Langsuyr) who entered the drumming post during the recording of 'In Aeternum' demo which was recorded in a small room of Jadam (Gorb) using rented 8 tracks. The demo was released on the 17th of December 1994. This particular demo sparked interest of many because of it is new direction. Not only the originality in it's melody, the overall concept of moody, melodic but twisting riffs have knocked down all of its critics. In other word, Voci (what it was popularly known) is ready to strike! And the strike was a lethal blow That demo was admired by Nebiula Production and they were offered a two release deals. That was shen Dark-E felt that another form of help was needed. The help was conceived in the entity of Batara Guru (also with Langsuyr) who responsible for the creative bass department. The line up has finally completed.

The first album, 'Ocean Myth' was first released in 1996 and it was the second release of Nebiula Production. Unfortunately due to lack of experience, Nebiula Production has failed to make it happens. In word of, slow promotion and marketing. But to those who has experienced Ocean Myth, the originality was widely known. Mingling the moodiness as bleak as the ugliest night with the sadness of human hearts. Riffing was creative as ever as the songs flow smoothly without interruption. Critics hailed it as the sad album without using any keyboards or female vocals. And the album was recorded using a single bass drum.

After massive gigs and promotions in the local scene, they started to write new material. It was in the 1st of June 1999 that the second album 'Meadow's Yearn' was conceived with high expectations put by the fan. This time round, Voci has diverge it musical direction into the more aggressive side without losing it trademark flow of music. Highlighting the perfect production and solid musicianship, the album is taken up high into scene. This time Azmaniarkht calls it quit also citing musical differences. Using the excellent help of two drummers, Adjheez (ex-Langsuyr) and Old-T (Athotorgh), the musical creation was complete.

Voci was also known to the local fans for its aggressive stage performance. Headbangs never end with Dark-E and Batara controlling every inch of the stage. If you have experienced it, notice how the crowd cheered when Voci entered the stage. They got the loudest hail!.

This band was born in 1992 under the fractions of other bands that were active during that period namely Necrotic Chaos and Mass Grave. This band is an escapism from the usual aggressive Death Metal bands of the two mentioned. As a result, Vociferation Eternity was born to put upon a slow and depressive Doom Metal. Putting on their mind both Dark-E and Gea Dreamstone provide us their first demo.

Apparently, the line up does not fit and Gea left the band leaving Dark-E alone. With a new member Azmaniarkht(of Langsuir) and with the help of Master Jadam, a second demo was created and to this point the band was heard. With their sheer intergrity, an additional member was needed and came Batara Guru (of Langsuir) to strenghten the band. A deal was made with Nebiula Production to unleashed the first full-lenght album "Ocean Myth" in March '96. Then there was no more stopping them and they went on to play a lots of gigs to support the release.

Somewhere around early this year, the band had released their latest effort "Meadow's Yearn" under Nebiula Productions and are ready to storm the local underground scene.
