SAUT ALASTOR adalah band supreme black metal bersimfoni dari Malaysia. Band ini dibentuk tahun 1996 dgn barisan terkini adalah Astagoth, Arca Sauts Modiac and Sarabuthus.

Mereka telah berjaya menghasilkan 'The Grand Executor' EP dari Nebiula Production awal tahun 2000. Band ini menyediakan anda ke alam muzik padu bersimfoni hasil petikan gitar dan bermelodi keyboard yg beratmosferik.

The history of SAUTS ALASTOR goes up at the dawn of the Nineties, where Shaharoth and Wil Astagoth meets for the first time in a seminar for initial musicians. Shaharoth already has behind him a solid experiment (it already belonged to several groups) whereas Astagoth is completely beginner. 2 young people appreciate themselves and decide to play together and to found a group, first of all called IRASANTAR , then ARCSEA , then ZALNABUR , name under which they record their first official demonstration in a studio, called “Sauts Monastery?composed of Astagoth (Lead Guitars and voice), Shaharoth (guitars), Yarn ‘Sontoloyor?(bass) and Modiac (battery). SAUTS ALASTOR really begins under this name at the end of 1996, with material written by Shaharoth and Astagoth during September 96 and not envisaged to be played by ZALNABUR .

Yarn had to quit from the band in the early of 97 , leaving Astagoth , Shaharoth together with Modiac to remain . In the early of 99 , Sarabuthus joined the band . Due to extreme problems, Shaharoth had to leave SA in the middle of 99 for a while leaving “Devouring The Purity of Holliness?. The band released an EP "The Grand Executor" leaves in December 99 only with Astagoth , Sarabuthus and Modiac under Nebiula Production . After the release , Shaharoth RETURNS to remain the original line-up of their creation . Thus 2000 ; The Year of Silence and Sorrow brought SAUTS ALASTOR almost to an end after a tragic car accident, forced Modiac to end his carrier as a drummer while Sarabuthus “The Jeton?were out due to commitment elsewhere . In the year of 2000 Sauts Alastor performed in Rockworld Penang using sessionist consist of Burning Twilight and Trismegistus of ARADIA and Storm of Ravenlord . In 2001 , Astagoth and Shaharoth together used the same sessionist for a gigs in Ipoh , Perak featuring a talented Nick on keyboard and a new permanent drummer BLASPHEME .

It is at this time that the things start to turn badly for SAUTS ALASTOR and the Malaysian black ?death metal in general, which must deal with beachcomber of various facts blaming of the members of the principal groups of black metallers . After these fuzzy things concerning black-death metal , Sauts Alastor ready to strikes back with vengeance . Awaits their upcoming album of pure ancient angst , modern frustrated , hopeless and nihilistic emotions which expanding it to an epic style of vastly symphonic and warp-speed music as they performed ?Supreme Symphonic Blackened Metal Art?extremely . As the rhythm flow from the mighty eastern mountains awakening the beasts on the vast lands with thousands of dreams , screaming for love , love of a death . You Have Been Told !!!
