I watched as Chris' brows furrowed in confusion and Joey's head cocked to the side as he tried to understand. Sighing, I take a seat on the coffee table in front of them, my elbows propped up on my knees, hands running over my hair, before looking up at them. "He feels that everything he is, was made up by management. His ghetto white boy image, his "girlfriend" Britney Spears. He doesn't know who he is. All he knows is what he's been told to be. The only thing he really knows is that he's gay, and still in love with Lance." Chris went to interrupt, but I held up my hand. "I know that on some level of things, Lance blames himself for this. He messed around with Justin, then said they were to young. Turned around and started dating me. I'm not sure if what is going on now between the two, is healthy or if it will be the downfall of our relationship. I do know that just with in the last 24 hours that there is some sparkle back into his eyes, and that it was for the sole fact that he was curled around Lance. Lance.. he.. he feels something going on, he knows somethings up, I can see it in his eyes every time he looks at me. He looks so sad, like he's lost his control on things. And we ALL know what it's like when Lance looses control. He's trying his hardest to be the perfect boyfriend to me, but yet he's sleeping in bed with my best friend. But I'm willing to do whatever's possible to help Justin come back to us. As the Justin we ALL know and love. To show him that he's NOT fake. That he's loved for who he is and for what he is."
Joey and Chris just sat there not knowing what to say. Lance and Josh were like the perfect couple. The couple they modeled there relationships after. If they ended, then happily ever after would be just a dream.
"Can we see him?"
I looked to our oldest bandmate with a sad smile. "He's not really up to it. I told him you would want to talk to him. Check on him to see if he's ok. He's wearing Lance's clothes, cause he doesn't want anyone to know how thin he's really gotten. I told him it was just the two of you. You can see him, but.. don't say anything about the way he looks."
Joey and Chris both nod as they stand to follow me up to the room Justin is staying in. "Wait right here. I'm going to tell him." I slipped into the Justin's room.
Lance was sitting against the head board, reading over contracts for FreeLance, glasses perched on his nose. Justin, rested his head on Lance's lap, his arms wrapped around the other's legs tightly. As if holding on for dear life. Lance was lightly running his hand through the massive curls. Still in Lance's clothes, Justin looked small.
"Hey guys. Um Chris and Joey are right outside. They'd like to come in and see you Justin."
Justin burried closer to Lance, wrapping around him best as he could with the way they were positioned. A small sniffle heard from the face burried into Lance's hip.
"Shhh. Just, they just want to check on you is all sweetie. They won't hurt you."
Justin just nodded, not moving from his spot.
Lance nodded over to me, giving me the ok to let them in.
I slowly walked back to the door, and peeked out, before opening it to let them in. Chris and Joey came into the room quietly. The scene of Lance sitting in bed with Justin wrapped around him tightly was enough to make them shed tears, but the topper. Was when Chris sat down on the edge of the bed, and lightly placed his hand on Justin's shoulder, and the younger shrank away from it.
I watched as the tears slowly made their way down Chris' cheeks. "Justin. Chris isn't going to hurt you. He loves you. He just wants you to see that." God I loved Lance. Even now, he was being so open minded. Lance closed his eyes, I could tell he was close to tears himself. Chewing on his bottom lip. "Justin.. baby, come on Chris and Joey are here to see you. Stop being like this."
I could see Lance's heart breaking at the term of enderment not thrown my way, but it seemed to do the trick. Justin slowly turned to look up at Chris. Tears streaming down his face.
Chris hesitantly reached out to brush the hair from his forehead, before gently pulling his frail body into his arms. Hugging him tightly, yet loosely, not wanting to frighten him again. To his suprise, Justin curled around the older man.
Joey wrapped his arms around Justin from behind, Lance still sitting at Justin's head. I made my way to the bed, and slid behind Lance. Wrapping my arms around him, and lightly rubbing Justin's curls. That's how we stayed. All wrapped in each other's arms. We even fell asleep curled up around each other. Our cheeks stained with tears, arms clutching to bodies.
We were in this together. It wasn't just Justin anymore. It was all 5 of us.
