A web editor can assist you in creating web pages without any prior knowledge of HTML. However we strongly suggest that you learn to write the code by yourself. You will learn a lot more about the structure and can make much better pages once you understand the fundamentals of HTML. If you want to download a web editor we suggest you try starting here

Barebones HTML
The Bare Bones Guide to HTML lists every official HTML tag in common usage, plus the Netscape extensions. Version 3.0 of the Guide conforms to HTML 3.2 and they are currently working on a version based on the HTML 4.0
