Fencesitters Summer Enrichment Program

This camp is an emersion into everyday skills to help our children experience life to it’s fullest. Teens, ages 13-17 with learning challenges, extreme shyness, social and organizational challenges will benefit from this fun 19-day program that focuses on enhancing everyday life skills. Parents drop-off and pick-up students at our home base in Midland Park, NJ.
Topics included in this enriching program are:

Relationships: developing positive ones, dealing with change, confrontation, bullying, and responsibilities within a family and friendship

Organizational Skills: doing a personal budget, using wallets, scheduling time, planning social outings, balancing chores and free time

Job Related Skills: using public transportation, dealing with co-workers & supervisors and time management

Social Skills will be reinforced throughout every aspect of the program. Once a week students will plan and enjoy a trip to the movies, restaurant or another leisure activity.

Classes meet Monday-Friday 9-2 during the month of July
Cost: $1,900

Prerequisite: Students must be able to work independently within a group
