CHEAPEST
The cheapest is to look for the many consolidators in the major cities of Europe and America. They offer many good deals and currently one can get a ticket for around 1000 US dollars from SFO or NYC airports to India
From UK and Germany currently one is looking at about four hundred pounds for a round trip three month ticket.
CHARTERS
There are charter flights to India from London , Frankfurt and Munich. These are usually three week tickets, non refundable and extremely cheap. Most charter flights go to Goa and Kerala.
HOT TIP Charter flights to Goa for 400 odd pounds are a great deal - even if you do not use the return ticket ! Currently return tickets are upwards of seven hundred pounds!
Charters to Bombay and Chennai are planned.
