India is rich in its music. Folk music, ghazals, film music , Bollywood music ,devotional music – bhajans, kirtans,aratis are a deep source of listening pleasure as also of peace and relaxation. Indian classical music and western Classical music are the only two forms of classical music in the world that can influence moods, relax you, change your emotions and motivate you. Legend has it that the famous musician Tansen in the court of Akbar once played a set of ragas to bring rain to the kingdom.

India as an old culture has many schools of painting. It is also rich in its monuments that have some amazing intricate carvings, frescoes and architecture. The Taj Mahal , Ajanta Ellora have amazing architecture as also the temples of Rajasthan and South India. Famous painters are Raja Ravi Verma , M F Hussain. The Tanjore miniature paintings are a delight.
