Internet Centres abound in the country – for Rs tweny to Rs thirty per hour you can get Internet surfing facilites.

Usually a sign of 64kbps/128kbps ISDN implies a good Internet café with good speeds.

Many Internet Centres have voice facilities now. One can use Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger to schedule a voice chat. Some even offer a webcam - send your loved one a glimpse of yourself.

Many Internet centres now offer PC to phone at cheaper rates. With this you can make a call to any phone in most countries round the world for about Rs 7 to Rs 10 per minute. Calling USA is the cheapest at Rs 4.5 per minute.

Regular landline calls to Europe, and USA are about Rs 24 per minute. 

PARCELS

If you wish to send a small gift back home any post office in the city can do it for you. There is a great deal available when you use the surface/air combo rate - the parcels arrive in a week usually, and the rate is not quite the rate for expensive air parcels.
