3. both! but in my mind, sarees are classified as formal/office-wear, so obviously salwaar-kurtaas rock!!! |

6. agree with Soul Curry I only ever wore saris to the office or to weddings, and salwar kameezes at all other times. In the South Asian climate you don't really want to be wearing anything else. |

8. salwar kameez is comfy like wearing pajamas! though the dupatta hacked me off for a few weeks i must confess. saris feel like glamour wear to me but too much of a hassle for everyday |

11. salwar kameez ... i'd only wear one again if i'd had it custom made ... i'm fairly small but found all that bulk around the waist too much. Personally I feel more comfortable in western long skirts and short sleeved tops. |
