#1 The Whimsically Wonderfulistic Witch Beatrix and her Amazing Changeling Cat Beauford
They say Beatrix is a bit eccentric and wacky. "They" being all the "traditional" witches. The few of the mutterings from the other witches can be overheard at the annual witch's meeting .."why couldn't she have just worn the "normal" garb of drab colors we love so much and just have kept that get up behind her own closed doors" ......" I hear she never even learned to cackle, she GIGGLES for goodness sake !!!! " ... " and NO one smiles that darn much!!! " ...Hey, what's up with that cat?? why not just a normal black one????"...etc...*sigh* it is never ending. BUT do not feel bad how she is treated by the other witches for Beatrix is one of the happiest witches around and even though she hears the whispers and cackles she never feels bad about it, she accepts them the way they are. However, Beauford usually has a mischievous trick up his sleeve at these meetings for the witches. One year he even changed into an orange brew, and when one of the loudest witches drank "him" she uncontrollably was coughing up fur balls. Well, she didn't have much to gossip about at that meeting after that . *;O) Beatrix is indeed a very unique witch, as is her companion , Beauford Cat. He is a changeling. He sometimes gets frustrated that no matter what he changes into Beatrix always seems to know what he is at any given time. Being kind hearted as she is, she doesn't dare tell Beauford it's because he is Orange and well, quite frankly there aren't too many all orange items around. They are very loyal companions to each other. Beauford feels he is her protector however, so Beatrix allows him to feel this way with a giggle. Beatrix is dressed in : a purple "body suit " with a checkered trimmed green skirt. The shirt is adorned with yellow painted wooden stars. Her legs and arms are black and white striped and polka dotted chintz. She has a stylish floppy checkered hat that is pose-able due to a chenille stem secured inside of it. her face is detailed with pigma pen and colored pencil. I am not sure if that is a hairy mole on her nose or a spider, and I have no intention of getting close enough to check. She has painted orange wooden bead joints. And wonderfully wild red hair. She can stand (with help) the doll stand is not included . She is filled with doll pellets and polyfil stuffing. She stands approx. 13" tall (not including the hat in the measurements). Beauford --- is made of Orange broadcloth and hass a checkered "rag" scarf. His face is detailed with pigma pen and colored pencil and thread whiskers. He is filled with doll pellets and polyfil stuffing. His tail is totally pose-able , it also has a chenille stem in it. He has a painted wooden star on his tummy. He is approx. 7 1/2" long. © 2003 Artistic Whimsies / Hawke's Haven Creations |
Fantabulous Witch, Franny and her "Precious" Black Cat, FuFu DeFang
Ah Yes, here we come to Franny and her "precious" Little FuFu. It's always an "exciting" time for the other witches when Franny and FuFu DeFang show up to the Annual Halloween Witch's Convention. So exciting in fact, all the other witches scurry to hurry and hide their cats, bats, frogs, and whatever else may have crawled, slithered, or hobbled in with them. Poor Franny, is in another world, a world that revolves around THAT FuFu. The other witches try not to act disturbed around her, they like Franny and feel they would never have the heart to let her know what EXACTLY that cat is doing whenever her back is turned.... THAT Darn FuFu uses that fang every chance she gets. The minute Franny is pre-occupied with the other witches, ( usually going over new potions, the latest models of brooms, and the best prices on warthog toes, you know? all the normal witch chitchat), while she is deep in conversation, FuFu makes the rounds to all the other animals sinking her fang into them, Oh sure, they screech, but when Franny turns her head to investigate there is FuFu with her little fang showing through a sweet smile looking up adoringly at Franny.. Usually at that point Franny picks her up like a baby cooing to her and telling all the other witches how lucky she is to have such a sweet loyal precious kitty. Of course, she is usually met with rolling of the eyes, uncontrollable coughs, or a few muffled obscenities from under the breath of a few of the witches. Franny never sees this, for she is lost in the moment of adoring her FuFu DeFang. So, Just a word to the wise, on Halloween, hide your pets (yes, even your aardvark), because one never knows where FuFu DeFang may show up at next. *:O)

Marveltastic Witch, Mabelina and her Frog, Ms. Plumm
Mabelina has reluctantly come to the Halloween Witch's Convention in hopes
of helping Mabelina figure out how to turn Ms. Plumm back into her loyal
Nanny.
Ms. Plumm thought it horrible they should ban her from practicing, what was the harm afterall? All was made right eventually, by Ms. Plumm, so being the ever devoted Nanny that raised Mabelina, she encouraged her to practice when no one was around. Well, that seemed to have back-fired a wee bit, and Ms. Plumm has to pay the price until Mabelina musters the courage to ask the council witch's to help to return Ms. Plumm back to her cheerful chubby Nanny. Without Ms. Plumm being able to fix all of Mabelina's mishaps, Mabelina is going to have to let them all know she went against strict orders. Well, let's all hope it turns out good for them. But just in case it doesn't, keep an eye out for a purple frog with a cheery face that croaks opera tunes, because that will only mean Mabelina is close by and might be trying out a spell or two, we would hate to see if you will be the one accompanying Mabelina next year to the Convention in the shape of perhaps a wallaby. Mabelina is dressed in : a green "body suit " with a checkered trimmed orange skirt. She is wearing a star necklace. Her legs and arms are black and white checkers and black and white polka dots. She has a stylish floppy Black Stars on Purple hat that is pose-able due to a chenille stem secured inside of it. her face is detailed with pigma pen and colored pencil. She has a red curly braid to one side. She has painted yellow wooden bead joints. She can stand (with help) the doll stand is not included . She is filled with doll pellets and polyfil stuffing. Wackily Wonderful Witch, Near-Sighted Nellie and her Blind as a bat BAT, Nippy Ned
Nellie and Ned have traveled far to this year's Witch Convention, and it took mighty long to get there too. They had to take busses, trains, and planes. You see, Nellie traveled this far to get her Broom Flying Permit back from the Witch Convention Presidents. Last year was the last straw for the convention. Not only does Nellie and Ned constantly fly into everything in their path, but last year was the worse, they could no longer allow her OR her bat to fly anymore. Her and Ned were just out for a nice Halloween evening fly, enjoying the cool breeze and the smell of the apples in the air, when BAM!! BOOM!! , she slammed right into the MOTHER of ALL Witches. Meaning, the Head Witch, that's right, the big cheese, big honcho, however you want to put it, it only spelled doom to Nellie and Ned. What made matters worse is whenever Ned gets nervous he Nips, well he nipped that MOTHER up and down her backside. She couldn't pry him off of her. Imagine a Big "Pleasantly Plump" Witch screaming through the night sky with a bat glued to her bum. Oh how undignified!! The horror of it all. That MOTHER was never so embarrassed!! Well, let's keep our fingers crossed for Nellie and Nippy Ned to be allowed to fly again. But, I for one, will not be flying into any evening skies if they do. Nellie is dressed in : a green "body suit " with a polka dot trimmed orange skirt. She is wearing a bat necklace. Her legs and arms are black and white checkers. She has a stylish floppy Moon and Bat Purple hat that is pose-able due to a chenille stem secured inside of it. her face is detailed with pigma pen and colored pencil. She is wearing brass wire glasses. She has painted purple wooden bead joints. She can stand (with help) the doll stand is not included . She is filled with doll pellets and polyfil stuffing. She stands approx. 13" tall (not including the hat in the measurements). Nippy
Ned --- is made of Black broadcloth and has purple black starred wing insides.
