Site Updates

April 13, 2003
Not really much to report as far as updates to the site itself goes.  I may be taking a couple of weeks off of here to work on one of my other sites though.  If I do, I'll let you know.  Hope you enjoy the Muse this week.

Not really much to report as far as updates go.  Hope you enjoy the Muse this week.  Drop me an e-mail if you have any suggestions or would like to report an error.  I would appreciate it.

I hope I've fixed my form problems.  Unfortunately, I've had to start all over with my guestbook.  But it's done and hopefully, it will run better.  I've also changed the Share-A-Link form and the Forum Board.  Please, please, PLEASE, let me know if you have any problems with any of it.  What posts I have had in the forum, have been deleted entirely.

A couple of different things have been updated.  You may notice that I have deleted the Sports Muse section all together.  My husband is a football fanatic and the section was made for him, but since it's the football off-season, there isn't much to write about.  He doesn't really get into any of the other sports.  So it's gone for a few more months anyway.

I have also added a page to the America United section of the Muse which offers FREE patriotic graphics to anyone.  Please read the terms of use at the top of the page before downloading any of the graphics.  You will only see a link to the page from that section.  I'll add more as time goes by.

There's also a new game featured on the Muse.  Mahjongg, which has always been one of my favorites is located in the Games Room.

I've been playing around with different form formats for the Share-A-Link, I hope to have a new one soon.  I'll be switching guestbooks soon too.  Probably within the next week or so.  It's a bit of a mess right now.  Sorry.

As of late, I have not been surfing the web as much.  I've been working on a couple of different projects and my focus has been more on web graphic design.  I am still setting aside time for The Muse, however it is limited (at least for a couple of months).  I need your vote to help me decide which pages I will continue to update weekly.  Please cast your vote!!  The poll is located in the left had column.  Vote as often as you like.  You can always e-mail me with any comments, suggestions, or recommended articles too.

You'll see some of my most favorite sites sprinkled around The Muse this week.

I updated this edition in a bit of a rush this week.  The week just flew by and the next thing I knew, it was Friday. Hope your week was good.  Mine was just really busy.  Trying a couple of new things and still playing around with a couple of different graphics programs.

I've only been gone for a couple of weeks and already, I've found a problem with my Share-a-link form.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  One of the drawbacks of having everything "free".  If you have any problems with it (yeah, like you share stuff with me anyway), then let me know.  I'm in the process of looking around at different forms.  I'll probably be changing it soon.

I forgot to post an update for you guys last week, but I'm here this week. =)  As you may have noticed, I will be taking a break from The Muse starting on the 13th so I can finally finish my other site and get it up and running.  I'll be back for the February 1st edition though.  I had a lot of fun updating the site this week.  Saw some really great stuff out there.  Unfortunately, I can't put some of the stuff I found (like The Fat Project over at The Spark), but only because of a few curse words.  Anyway, hope you guys enjoy this edition of The Muse and hey!  Sign my guestbook!!!

2002 is almost gone.  I'm glad!  I've updated all the normal stuff on the site.  Have a look around.  I have changed a couple of things here and there, but nothing really major.  Oh!  I did add a new page to the America United portion of the site.  It's just my personal account of how I found out about the attacks.  I'm not much of a writer, but I need feel the need to get it in print just to remind myself of how I felt that day.

Well, everything seems to be going pretty smoothly now as far as the site goes.  But if you come across any dead links, please let me know A.S.A.P.!  I just hate it when I'm on a site that has dead links on it.  Bugs the hell out of me!  Also, if there's anything that you'd like to see added to the Muse, drop me an e-mail!

Working on the GamesRoom pages now.  Almost done with them.  What are some of your favorite online games?  I'll see what I can do about putting them on the site.

December 18, 2002

The KidStuff pages have a new look now too.  After about 3 different looks and formats, I finally decided to stick with this one...at least for now.  There are still a few things that I'd like to change around with these pages, but all in all, not too bad, I think.  I did have the pages framed at first, but decided it was a bad idea.  What do you think?

It's up, it's up, IT'S UP!!  I can hardly believe it!

December 12, 2002

Well, here goes...I'm just about to put it up for the first time.  I hope it all works.

Back to normal now.  Everything is back to normal now - no more Halloween! YIPEE!  I've added a couple of blinkies to the site.  I've also been working on another personal site - for graphics related stuff.  Websets mostly.  It should be in a couple of weeks so look for a link to the new site from The Weekly Muse.

Oct. 28,2002
As promised, this months issues of the Muse has had a "spooky" theme to it. And this one is no different! I have to tell you, I'm glad it's over with.  I've had enough haunts and scary stuff to last me for awhile.  I won't be doing this next year.  It didn't dawn on me that there are five weeks in the month this year and frankly, I'm just glad it's over.  I am excited about taking my youngest one out for his first Halloween this year though.  I'll be taking lots of pictures, you can bet on that.

Oct. 21, 2002
You mean on the site?  Well, as usual, all the topics are new.  Duh!  That's why it's called The WEEKLY Muse.  In keeping with the theme for this month, I've tried to bring you more Halloween spirit - ghosts, witches, and other spooky stuff.  I hope you enjoy your time on the site.

If you're at all curious, I've put up a section that tells a little about me and why I do this along with a whole bunch of other site information.  And while we're on the subject...To those of you that have visited before, why haven't you signed my guestbook yet?  Tell, me the site stinks, tell me it's good, tell me anything.  I'd really like to know what you think!  The sites only been up since June and I know I have a lot of learning to do.  I want to know what you like and dislike about the site along with anything that I'm doing wrong with the site.  It's not like I'm going to hire a hit man to hunt you down if you say something bad...although I might think about it if you don't say anything at all. *wink*

For you professionals out there, I'd like to ask a couple of questions.  Is it okay that I have all my "legal mumbo-jumbo" on one page?  Is it okay that it's in F.A.Q. format?  Do I really have to put them on separate pages?  I really don't want to.  I know I'm certainly not up there in the professional world as far as webmastering (is that a word?) goes, but trying to keep up with all the legalities is really giving me a headache.
