SHIRE HORSE OF THE WEEK
for
Week of June 11, 2000

WALTON SUPREME (46596)

Bay stallion, foaled 1992, owner Philip Moss, UK.
By Dothan Masterpiece (46023) out of Crossfields Honeysuckle (142911) by Cubley Charlie (45853)

"Walton Supreme was the Champion Stallion at the National Shire Show in Peterborough, UK in 2000. The judges at Peterbough, John Richardson and Tom Brownlow, stated that Supreme had never looked better.

"Note the bottoms on this horse, very few horses in America are that well furnished. Note the feather and pastern this horse possesses.

"Not only is Supreme a show champion, he is also a top sire. This year (2000) he won the Sir Walter Gilbey award for the Super Premium Stallion with the most stud book entries. Horsemen will remember his daughter Sladebrook Stewardess, who captured many rosettes in the last two years."
