ASUU Chieftain Redeployed for Sub-Standard Certificate
The former Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), University of Ilorin
branch, Mr. A. G. Folayan, has been redeployed to the primary school wing of the university for alleged possession of sub-standard qualifications.
A letter from the office of the Registrar of the university dated June 4 and signed by Mr. M. T. Balogun said the lecturer in the Department of Accounting was being directed to the headmistress of the primary school “who will assign appropriate duties to
him.”
The letter however confirmed the retention of his present basic salary.
