Early this week, as affected by a continental airstream, it was fine
in this district. Tuesday evening onwards, rainy weather, that was brought
by Severe Tropical Storm Hagupit over the northern part of the South China
Sea, persisted till the weekend. Hagupit was the closest to Hong Kong
on Wednesday afternoon, when it was located at 150 km SSW of Hong Kong.
Throughout that day, strong to gale force winds prevailed over this
district. It was also overcast with rain, heavy and squally at times.
Hagupit landed near Yangzhang, Guangxi during early hours on Thursday.
It further weakened into an area of low pressure on Friday morning. On
Saturday, the low pressure drifted eastwards and stayed over Guangdong
coastal areas, resulting with unsettled weather there. There were
thunderstorms with heavy rain in this district then.
本星期初，受到一股大陸氣流影響，本
區天色良好。自星期二傍晚起，天陰的
天氣持續至週末，皆因南海北部的強烈
熱帶風暴黑格比靠近廣東沿岸。黑格比
於星期三下午較後時間最接近香港，在
香港西南偏南150公里處掠過，當日本
區整天普遍吹強風至烈風，密雲有雨，
間中有狂風大驟雨。黑格比於星期四清
晨在廣東西部陽江附近登陸，並於星期
五早上減弱為一個低壓區。該低壓區於
星期六向東移動，徘徊廣東沿岸地區，
為該區帶來不穩定的天氣。當日，本區
有大雨及雷暴。
