Affected by low pressure troughs, the weather over this district was unsettled. There were thundery rainstorms on Sunday and Monday. Rainfall was accumulated over 200 millimetres during the two days. It was still cloudy with showers during mid-week. However, bright to sunny periods were sometimes observed. A ridge of high pressure started to affect the coast of Guangdong. Weather improved. On Saturday afternoon, clouds dissipated and there was abundant of sunshine.
