Early this week, a trough of low pressure continued to bring unsettled weather to South China coastal areas and the northern part of South China Sea. In this district, it was still cloudy with showers on Sunday and Monday. Weather improved during mid-week and it was fine and hot. On Thursday afternoon, air temperature in this district rose to 32.7 degrees Celsius. Starting from late period on Friday, a moist southerly airstream affected this district. During the weekend, it turned to be cloudy with showers, heavy at times and there were occasional thunderstorms.
