A ridge of high pressure persisted to bring fine weather to
southeast China. For this district, apart from some showers on Sunday,
it was fine and hot to very hot for the rest of this week. On the other
hand, a tropical cyclone formed over the sea to the southeast of the
Philippines on Wednesday. It strengthened into a tropical storm later
and named Koni. Koni crossed the central part of the Philippines and
steadily moved northwestward over the South China Sea.
一道高壓脊持續為中國東南部帶來晴
朗的天氣。本區方面，除星期日部分
時間有驟雨外，整個星期其餘時間都
是天晴，天氣炎熱至酷熱。另一方面
，一個熱帶氣旋於本星期三在菲律賓
東南海域形成，其後增強為熱帶風暴
，命名為天鵝。天鵝橫過菲律賓中部
後，在南海穩定地向西北方向移動。
