It was generally fine and hot to very hot over this district all the
day on Sunday and during day-time on Monday. After Tropical Storm
Morakot skirted southern Taiwan and crossed the Taiwan Strait, it landed
near Xiamen and weakened on Monday evening. Affected by its reminant
rainband, the weather over this district turned to be cloudy with
occasional showers, heavy at times, and some thunderstorms, starting
from Monday night. There was still rain next day. It became fine on
Wednesday and Thursday. Friday onwards, a weak southwest monsoon
started affecting the distict. Although there were occasional heavy
showers, sunny periods were still observed. Also, it was hot.

晴，天氣炎熱至酷熱。熱帶風暴莫拉
克掠過台灣南部，橫過台灣海峽，並
於星期一傍晚在廈門附近登陸及減弱
。受其殘餘的外圍雨帶影響，星期一
晚起，本區天氣轉為多雲，間中有驟
雨及幾陣雷暴，雨勢有時頗大；翌日
仍然有雨。星期三及四天色轉晴。星
期五起，一股微弱的西南季候風開始
影響本區，雖然間中有大驟雨，但部
分時間有陽光，天氣炎熱。
