Unsettled weather prevailed over the district this week. Such the
weather was associated by a trough of low pressure lying over the
coastal areas of Guangdong and the northern part of the South China Sea.
Except Monday and Wednesday, rainfall was recorded every day in this
week. Early this week, although there were showers, outbreaks of sunshine
were observed. On Thursday and Friday, it became cloudy with occasional
rain and thunderstorms. Rain were sometimes heavy. Weather improved
during the weekend. Apart from one or two showers, it was mainly fine
and hot. On the other hand, Typhoon Krovanh entered the northern part of
the South China Sea on Saturday morning. It was forecast to bring squally
showers and strengthening winds to the district in the next couple of
days.
位於廣東沿岸及南海北部的一道低壓槽
於本週為本區帶來不穩定天氣；除星
期一及三外，本週內的每一天都有雨
量記錄。本週初，雖然有驟雨，但短
暫時間有陽光。星期四及五，多雲，
間中有雨及雷暴，且雨勢有時頗大。
星期六天氣好轉，除有一兩陣驟雨外
，天晴炎熱。另一方面，颱風科羅旺
於週末早上進入南海北部，預料於未
來一雨天為本區帶來狂風驟雨，風勢
同時增強。
