A dry northeast monsoon continued to bring fine, dry and hazy
weather to this district on Sunday and Monday morning. Winds
slightly strengthened from the north on Monday afternoon and haze
was gradually dispelled. However, the northerly winds resulted in
drier weather. Lowest relative humidity in this district was recorded
to be 26 percents, which was the lowest so far this autumn. In mid-week,
a ridge of high pressure brought fine weather to the district. Over
the weekend, as affected by a moist easterly airstream, it was mainly
cloudy with occasional rain. And relative humidity was higher when
compared to that some days ago. On the other hand, Melor changed its
moving direction to the northeast or north-northeast. After crossing
the seas to the east of Taiwan, it weakened into an area of low
pressure.
乾燥東北季候風於星期日及星期一早
上繼績令本區天晴、乾燥及有煙霞。
星期一下午北風稍為增強，煙霞才逐
漸消散。不過，北風令天氣更為乾燥
，本區錄得最低相對濕度為百分之二
十六，是今年入秋至現時為止的最低
紀錄。本星期中期，受到一道高壓脊
影響，本區普遍天晴。週末期間，受
一股潮濕偏東氣流影響，本區大致多
雲，間中有雨，相對濕度較前幾天高
。另一方面，茉莉於本星期初轉向東
北或東北偏北移動，橫過台灣以東海
域後減弱為一低壓區。
