Monday, affected by a ridge of high pressure, it was fine and hot in the afternoon.
Tuesday, a trough of low pressure over the northern part of the South China Sea brought
generally cloudy weather to the South China coastal areas. For the district, it was
cloudy, but there were sunny intervals in the afternoon. Wednesday and Thursday, a
southwest monsoon arrived. There were sunny periods and showers over the district.
For the rest of this week, another trough of low pressure brought showers and
thunderstorms to the coastal areas. Friday, there was plenty of sunshine in the
afternoon. It was also hot to very hot. Air temperature once rose to 33.1 degrees
over the district, that was the highest so far this year. Evening onwards, weather
became unsettled and there were showers and thunderstorms. Over the weekend, there
were sunny periods in the morning. Around noon, there were thundery showers, heavy at
times.

一道高壓脊影響，本區天晴，下午天氣炎熱。星期二，位於南海北部的低壓槽
為華南地區帶來普遍多雲的天氣；本區方面，多雲，下午短暫時間有陽光。星
期三及四，西南季候風影響本區，本區部分時間有陽光，亦有驟雨。本週餘下
時間，一道低壓槽為華南沿岸地區帶來驟雨及雷暴。星期五，本區下午陽光充
沛，天氣炎熱至酷熱，錄得最高氣溫33.1度，是今年以來的最高紀錄；傍晚天
氣轉趨不穩定，有驟雨及雷暴。週末期間，早上部分時間有陽光，中午前後，
則有雷雨，且雨勢有時頗大。
