A southwest monsoon persisted to bring showers to the southeastern China on Sunday. Over
this district, there were showers in the morning and afternoon that day and there were still
sunny intervals. Monday and Tuesday, a southerly airstream affected the district. Monday, there
were sunny periods during the day. However, that night near midnight, there were some showers.
Tuesday, it was fine and hot to very hot in the afternoon. Air temperature once rose to 33.8
degrees, that was the highest so far this year. From Wednesday to Friday, a trough of low
pressure brought rainy weather to the coastal areas of Guangdong and the northern part of the
South China Sea. For the district, there were sunny periods and showers during the day on
Wednesday. Nevertheless, showers were more frequent and heavier at night. Thursday, cloudy
with rain throughout the day and rain was sometimes heavy in the afternoon and at night.
Friday, cloudy with showers. Saturday, a ridge of high pressure brought fine and hot
weather to the district.
西南季候風於星期日持續為華南帶來驟雨；本區當日早上及下午有驟雨，亦短
暫時間有陽光。星期一及二，一股偏南氣流影響本區；星期一，日間部分時間
有陽光，當晚接近午夜時分則有幾陣驟雨；星期二，天晴，下午天氣炎熱至酷
熱，本區氣溫一度上升至33.8度，是本年直至本週為止的最高紀錄。星期三至
五，一道低壓槽為廣東沿岸地區及南海北部帶來有雨的天氣。本區方面，星期
三，日間部分時間有陽光及有驟雨，晚間時分驟雨變為頻密及雨勢頗大。星期
四，整天多雲有雨，下午及晚間雨勢有時頗大。星期五，多雲有驟雨。星期六
，一道高壓脊為本區帶來晴朗及炎熱的天氣。
