Apart from morning's cloudy periods, it was fine over Tsing Yi (North) during the day on Saturday.

On Sunday, an active southerly airstream brought rainy weather to this district. There
was occasional light to moderate rain throughtout that day. Apart from some showers during
the night hours of Monday and some cloudy periods on Saturday morning, there was plenty of
sunshine and it was hot to very hot for the rest of the time this week. During Saturday
afternoon, air temperature once rose to 34 degrees. Early this week, Tropical Storm
Washi landed over northern Vietnam, and gradually dissipated. On the other hand, Typhoon
Matsa to the east of the Philippines crossed the sea to the east of Taiwan, landed Zhejiang
and towards Jiangsu.
星期日，一股活躍的偏南氣流為本區帶來有雨的天氣；本區整天間中有小至中
雨。除星期一凌晨時分有幾陣驟雨及星期六早上部分時間多雲外，本週其餘時
間陽光普照，天氣炎熱至酷熱；星期六下午亦一度上升至34度。熱帶風暴天鷹
於本週初登陸越南北部，並逐漸消散。另一方面，菲律賓以東的颱風麥莎於本
週橫過台灣以東海域，登陸浙江，並趨向江蘇省。
